Investment Banking Analyst or Associate
- Makati, Philippines
About the Job
We are looking to hire a financial analyst to be based in the Philippines at Makati. The person in the role shall primarily manage the execution of corporate finance transactions for clients in the region, and be the central point of contact for on all deal execution matters. The role reports to the MDs based out of Philippines and London.
Responsibilities
- Manage whole deal transaction including deal origination, client relationship management, business development and deal closing for M&A, Debt and Equity fundraising
- Manage Deal Advisory including supporting clients to develop, structure and build innovative and pragmatic and financing solutions to address business challenges and foster growth.
- Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the clients business & financing
- Continuously review deal flow against pre-set timelines and milestones to ensure appropriate deal closing
- Ensure effective communication and facilitating flow of essential information and feedback among deal stakeholders; regularly and effectively communicate deal expectations and updates.
- Provide guidance on client engagements including preparation of reports, financial modelling, valuation and projections.
- Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with the deal team members.
- Ensure quality and timely guidelines are observed during set up, execution and close out of deals
- Work with colleagues in the firm on client work and internal initiatives as well as with international teams where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/ Graduate of Business Administration/ Management Economics/ Finance/ Mathematics Degree from any reputable University and preferably in a business related field.
- CPA, ACCA OR CFA or any relevant professional qualification are a plus, but not a requirement.
- At least 3-5 years relevant work experience for Senior Associate; 2-4 years relevant work experience for Associate in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Credit, Private Equity, Management Consulting , or other similar fields
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with C-suite executives, founders, investors, and other key stakeholders.
